Safari Tales

It appears that sometimes the wildlife in Kruger attracts equally if not more mysterious creatures from other lands.

From what is known, a ranger was once asked to track down unicorns.  And I'm not talking about the fish, fascinating as they are.

Another had to watch while all manner of trees were hugged, listened to and given voice as to how happy or sad they were in their place in the earth.

One veteran ranger was so good at pretending to eat impala dung that a zealous traveller had no choice but to do it for real.

This then led me to discover a most intriguing national pastime- impala dung spitting competition, as demonstrated by the students at Durban Preparatory High School.

Myths or facts?
